: Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin pledged towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals to uplift the livelihood and well-being of people at the SDG Summit 2023 in New York.

“Collectively, through effective multilateralism, a legacy of sustainability will be left behind for global posterity,” he said. Srettha delivered a statement at the Leaders’ Dialogue of the SDG Summit 2023, on “Mobilizing finance and investments and the means of implementation for SDG achievement” at the Trusteeship Council Chamber, UN Headquarters on Tuesday.

Srettha who is also the finance minister said it is also crucial that the international community address the SDG financing gap, scale up SDG investment, find innovative sources of finance, and level the playing field regarding international financial architecture.
