PETALING JAYA: Penyertaan golongan wanita dalam sukan golf di negara ini dijangka bertambah dengan penganjuran Siri Golf Wanita Poh Kong
Kejohanan untuk wanita akan diadakan pada 17 Oktober ini di Glenmarie Golf & Country Club dan diikuti dengan acara campuran pada 23 November di The Mines Resort & Golf Club dan akhirnya acara wanita pada15 Disember di Kota Permai Golf & Country Kelab.
Naib Presiden Persatuan Gol Malaysia , Datuk Merina Gan berkata, kejohanan berkenaan sehaluan dengan Piagam Wanita Dalam Golf yang berjanji untuk menyokong langkah meningkatkan bilangan wanita, gadis dan keluarga bermain golf. Sementara itu, Pengurus Kanan Pemasaran Poh Kong, Elizabeth Choon berkata, penganjuran kejohanan itu diharap dapat meningkatkan lagi penyertaan pemain wanita dalam sukan golf.
Peserta yang menyertai kejohanan berkenaan akan menerima kejutan, selain barangan sukan golf, kemungkinan peserta juga akan menerima jonkong emas Poh Kong di dalam goodie bag
