Kota Kinabalu: City police confirmed receiving a report relating to a spy camera installed inside a wall socket at a homestay here.
City Police Chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the report was lodged by a Chinese tourist at 5.27pm on Sept 7.He said an investigation paper had been opened under Section 509 of the Penal Code. “Preliminary investigations have been carried out, including seizure of case items, and efforts to identify the perpetrator are underway,” he said, Saturday.
