RECENTLY, a statement went viral on social media; it claimed to be an official statement from the Education Ministry, and it contained a statement that all students would now have to pay a RM30 fee for the cosmetic products bought by their teachers
The Education Ministry had said such a policy does not exist and denied issuing such a statement.
“The screenshot of the statement is false. People are advised to not share such fake messages and refer to the ministry's official website for confirmation,” it said in a post on its official Facebook page.
