THE sight of a flasher anywhere is an unpleasant shock, and the smallest rumour that one is roaming around can go viral given the prevalence of social media.
Recently, a claim went viral online that a flasher exposed himself to a woman at a car park in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Is there any truth to this claim?In a statement, Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Tan Cheng Shan confirmed that such an incident happened at a car park in Alma, Bukit Mertajam on Sunday .
"The suspect unzipped his pants and flashed his private parts at the victim before moving away from the place," he said in a statement on Monday . He said the incident was captured in a video and was uploaded on social media showing the suspect flashing himself to the victim.
