PETALING JAYA: Ringgit jatuh ke paras terendah sejak Krisis Kewangan Asia kerana mata wang tempatan ditimbang oleh kenaikan dolar Amerika Syarikat dan perbezaan kadar yang semakin meluas dengan negara itu. Mata wang tempatan turun sebanyak 0.3 peratus kepada 4.7635 berbanding dolar AS, paling lemah sejak 1998, sekali gus menjadikannya prestasi terburuk di Asia tahun ini selepas yen Jepun.
