KINABATANGAN: The federal Rural and Regional Development Ministry has allocated a total of RM18 million for infrastructure development in the Kinabatangan constituency this year, says Sabah Umno Chairman Datuk Bung Moktar Radin.
He said of the amount, RM4 million would be used to upgrade gravel roads to concrete roads, RM6 million for the construction of a new community centre in Kota Kinabatangan town and RM5 million for a new market. Bung said these projects were in progress, while an additional RM3 million has been allocated for the district’s waste disposal centre at a site currently being identified.
