Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has undertaken 17 overseas visits since assuming office in November last year.

Anwar, who is also the finance minister, said his official visit to China in March generated a potential investment value of about RM170 billion. During his two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates last week, Anwar also announced that Malaysia had received investment commitments totalling RM40.6 billion, involving sectors such as renewable energy, logistics and aerospace.
“Furthermore, there are committed investments of RM2.1 billion in the logistics sector and RM709.1 million in the aerospace sector,” he told the Dewan Rakyat this moirning.
