The Premier said the park would be developed in phases by the state International Trade, Industry and Investment Ministry on a 738ha area in the Kuching and Samarahan divisions. Abang Johari said the state government would continue with its business-friendly policies to attract more investments, especially in high-tech and green industries.
In addition, he said Sama Jaya had created 15,000 employment opportunities, of which 98% were filled by locals.
