It is that time of year again where self-proclaimed time traveller Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) reveals the designs of Samsung's
, then you’re not alone. But upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that its frames are now flatter and there’s actually a new addition to the right-hand side of the phone, just below the volume rocker and lock button. According to Hemmerstoffer , this component is actually the Ultra-Wideband antenna, which may or may not play a major role for the Galaxy S24 as well as the entire series.
Besides that, it is believed that the base Galaxy S24 model will feature either a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 or an Exynos 2400 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, a 12MP front-facing camera, as well as a rear triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Interestingly, both sources have conflicting information when it comes to the onboard battery.
