KUALA LUMPUR: The initial notice submission by organisers of the 'Save Malaysia' rally on Saturday (Sept 16) did not fully comply with the provisions of the Peaceful Assembly Act, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain.

KUALA LUMPUR: The initial notice submission by organisers of the"Save Malaysia" rally on Saturday did not fully comply with the provisions of the Peaceful Assembly Act, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd ZainThe Bukit Aman CID director said the organisers left out certain details in their initial submission.

"These are seasoned individuals who have a lot of experience in organising demonstrations," he told reporters at the Dang Wangi police headquarters on Thursday .When asked on the possibility of the"Red Shirts" holding a counter rally, Comm Mohd Shuhaily said Bukit Aman's top brass had been very clear that those interested in holding rallies must notify the police five days prior to the event and must mention where they want to have it.
