PETALING JAYA: Seremban police have arrested a 25-year-old motorcyclist who rammed into a Road Transport Department (JPJ) officer while attempting to escape a roadblock on the Seremban-Port Dickson highway on Sunday (Sept 17) morning.
According to Port Dickson police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed, the motorcyclist did not have a valid driving licence and his road tax had expired.
"The case is being investigated under Section 353 of the Penal Code for using force to intimidate public servants," he said in a statement on Sunday. The JPJ, in a separate statement on Sunday, said that the motorcyclist has two blacklist entries against him and that his road tax expired in July 2012.
