KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul and the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will make a joint working visit to Lumut, Perak on Oct 5 to check on the status of the Royal Malaysian Navy's littoral combat ship (LCS) project.
PAC chairman Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the visit was for the Speaker to gain insights on the progress report of the Defence Ministry project for the period from October last year to May this year.
"We hope the Speaker will consider that the PAC report involving the progress report can be debated in the Dewan Rakyat after it is tabled," she said in a statement on Thursday .
