PETALING JAYA: A top-scorer from a B40 family who had appealed for help to gain admission to a public university of his choice has gotten the attention of Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni .
Thasvenraj, who claims to be from a low-income family and with a single mother, had appealed for help from Ampang MP Rodziah Ismail and other politicians on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Lukanisman was among other those who responded to the tweet to clarify the matter and asked Thasvenraj to send him a direct message instead.
