KOTA TINGGI: A 27-year-old man failed to steal some necklaces from a jewellery store here and was apprehended on the street by passers-by.
JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested a man for allegedly robbing a teenager in an elevator at an apartment here.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the 43-year-old was arrested at the same apartment at around 11am on Tuesday . “The victim, who is a 14-year-old boy, lodged a police report on Sunday at around 5.25pm after he was robbed by a helmet wearing man inside an elevator. “Following the report, police raided an apartment unit and arrested the suspect. We also seized a mobile phone, a pair of shoes and a pair of jeans from him,” he said in a statement here on Wednesday .He said the suspect also tested positive for morphine and the case was being investigated under Section 392 of the Penal Code.
