On TECNO Malaysia's Facebook page, the company teased that the Phantom V Flip 5G is indeed coming to Malaysia. The caption also said"3 days to go" so that means 5 October 2023 is the launching date for the phone. But what does the phone offer?
Since the phone was revealed in India already, here's a quick breakdown. The Phantom V Flip 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 22:9 aspect ratio and 1000 nits brightness. Additionally, there's also a 1.32-inch exterior circular display hanging around the primary camera module.
Speaking of cameras, the Phantom V Flip also has a 64MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is 32MP and is acting as a cutout sensor on the top centre of the display. Finally, the 4000mAh battery pack supports 45W wired fast charging. We should be getting a black or purple model but the tech specs may change a bit for our local Malaysia set. Time will tell.
