In early August, drivers using the MEX Highway were delighted to hear that the tolls along the highway will accept debit and credit card payments – with more to follow suit in the future.
As of today , 11 more highways will also accept payments from debit and credit cards. Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi announced the news as he launched the Open Payment Toll Collection System at the Loke Yew toll plaza on Besraya.The system aims to provide drivers alternatives besides the existing payment methods of Touch ‘n Go, Smart Tags and Radio Frequency Identification .
