PETALING JAYA: Three people sustained minor injuries when a section of roof at the Megah Rise Mall here collapsed during an episode of heavy downpour.A statement on the Megah Rise Mall Facebook page said that the incident is being investigated while immediate action has been taken to manage the situation.
“We regret to inform you that the ceiling of the car porch in front of Megah Rise Mall entrance collapsed during strong winds and heavy downpours this afternoon at approximately 3pm, resulting in three minor injuries,” said the statement yesterday.Meanwhile, in MELAKA, eight classrooms and the administration block of SMK Munshi Abdullah in Batu Berendam were badly damaged when a storm and strong winds hit yesterday.
