The Allied Democratic Forces is seeking to establish an Islamic rule in the East African country.
Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni said Meddie Nkalubo, who was the author of bomb attacks in Kampala, was also killed in the air strike.
The strike was carried out in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo on Sept 16 and intelligence gathered after the strike had confirmed members of the group, the Allied Democratic Forces , had been killed, he said.
