Dr Akmal Saleh says the supply of essentials should be managed by the government, not the private sector.
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh said that essential products like rice, flour, cooking oil, and sugar should be controlled and managed by the government.
“The government needs to determine , not have it determined by them ,” Akmal said in a Facebook post. Since the middle of this month, Akmal has been involved in several incidents over the market shortage of local rice.
