KUALA LUMPUR: The police have arrested the co-founder of a local airline, who has a 'Datuk' title, along with his wife and son.
MELAKA: Nine undocumented foreigners from Indonesia were apprehended by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency near Tanjung Rhu coastline in Selangor while attempting to illegally enter the country.
MMEA's Melaka and Negri Sembilan director Capt Iskandar Ishak said the suspicious movement of a boat was detected through the Malaysian Maritime Sea Surveillance System before the MMEA's patrol vessel intercepted and detained all the foreigners at 1am on Wednesday . "The boat with two 200HP engines each was spotted heading towards our shoreline before being intercepted about 0.7 nautical miles from Tanjung Rhu shoreline," he said.When asked to produce documents by the patrol unit, all foreigners aged 23 to 47, failed to do so.
