Netizens have also pointed out that the alleged abuser doesn’t show any remorse as he had posted Stories that implied so.In response to all the criticism, Amirul posted a video to share an explanation about the incident.
However, he said that he repented his actions after he started a family with the woman and was diagnosed with a disability. He also asked the public to forgive him for his past because he wanted to be a changed man. He also revealed that he is now in the process of divorcing his wife. Many netizens who saw his response were still angry at Amirul, saying he doesn’t seem genuinely repentant. Many also noted that abuse is still abuse, regardless of when it happened. However, some believed him, hoping that Amirul had become a changed man.
