Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan called for the cancellation of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport’s (KKIA) relocation to Kimanis, citing several reasons.
Among them is that the relocation would damage the economy of Putatan besides causing travel inconvenience to businesses that come to Sabah, according to Warisan Wirawati Information Chief Izzatul Aini.She said the GRS-led State Government should be aware that the KKIA generates employment for youths and business for locals in the service sectors.
