Spotted by WABetaInfo, the feature was part of WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.24.4. It is meant for you to mask your information by setting an alternate profile photo.
Users can turn on the feature by going to the Privacy option in the settings and selecting Profile Photo. The option to add an alternate profile will be available at the very bottom. Of course, there’s no confirmation that this feature will end up in the full version of WhatsApp, as it’s currently still in beta.
