Xiaomi today has officially launched the latest entry to its 13-series smartphones with the all-new Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T
to its 13-series smartphones with the all-new Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro models. Unlike the original trio that were released earlier this year, the two feature MediaTek Dimensity flagship chipsets and a completely different camera setup, though retained are the imaging enhancements and features developed by the company’s partner Leica.
With the exception of the display size and camera layout on the back, the newer Xiaomi 13T models actually sport a similar design to the Xiaomi 13 Pro model from before. In terms of specifications, both the standard and Pro variants feature the same 6.67-inch display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2600-nits peak brightness, 2880Hz PWM dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The similarities between the two don’t end there, as both Xiaomi 13T variants also feature the same camera sensors on the back, as well as up front. In terms of the former, housed within the square island on the rear case is a triple camera setup helmed by a 50MP f/1.9 primary sensor with OIS, which is paired together with a 50MP f/1.9 telephoto and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide. For the latter, housed within the punch-hole cutout on the display on either model is a 20MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
