Kyiv is reportedly also working to ensure the continuity of its grain exports through the Black Sea.
Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte said the Netherlands would provide more Patriot missiles to help Ukraine defend itself in the winter.
“We are working with partners to protect properly these corridors, and strengthen our positions in the Black Sea, and it also applies to the protection of Odesa’s skies and in the region as a whole,” he told a joint press conference alongside Rutte. Deputy prime minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said that since that deal ran out, Russian forces had hit six civilian ships and 150 port and grain facilities during 17 attacks, destroying crops headed for export.Zelensky and Rutte visited a damaged port in the Odesa region, which has come under frequent Russian missile and drone attacks.
