NABAWAN: Nineteen Koperasi Tatalaan Berhad members had a study tour of the State Land Development Board’s (LKTNS) dairy farm in Binakaan, Sook to gain knowledge and experience related to cooperative management.
“Koperasi Tatalaan Berhad received approval and a registration certificate from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission and started planning programmes related to activities that will be carried out by the cooperative such as livestock and fisheries,” said its chairman Barahim Andipoh.“Cooperative leaders need extensive knowledge related to management of cooperative development,” he said.
The delegation also visited the livestock farm of the Veterinary Services Department which currently houses 308 beef cattle from Australia that are quarantined for 30 days.
