KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22 police reports have been lodged protesting the Save Malaysia rally that will be held in the city on Saturday (Sept 16), says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.
KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22 police reports have been lodged protesting the Save Malaysia rally that will be held in the city on Saturday , says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain .
The Inspector-General of Police said various people made the reports, including business owners, the public and non-government organisations. "They expressed their displeasure over the rally that will be held on Saturday as it can disrupt business and activities of the public.The organisers have not complied with Section 10 of the Peaceful Assembly Act in submitting a notice to the police, he said."Our safety is secured. In fact, such protests might disrupt public activities," he added."We received information that people outside KL will join the protest.
