GEORGE TOWN: A total of 23 councillors have been sworn in to serve Penang Island City Council (MBPP) for the 2023-2024 term.
The new line-up consists of ten from DAP, eight from PKR, four from Amanah and a member of a non-governmental organisation and 12 are new faces.In his speech, MBPP mayor Datuk A. Rajendran extended his greetings to the induction of 12 new councillors and 11 incumbents.
“The roles of council members are unquestionably rife with diverse challenges and dedication, with effective time management being imperative.
