Ever since Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim was elected the 10th PM of Malaysia, he has been receiving LOTS of visits, especially from the leaders of different countries.
“We had a lot to discuss, including the social elements which I fight for. These will be included in his future films,” Anwar explained. For the record, this isn’t Rajinikanth 1st visit to Malaysia. His 2016 film, Kabali was shot at multiple locations in Malaysia in late 2015, and the film was a major success in the country. In Kabali, Rajinikanth played the titular character, an aged gangster based in KL who was released from prison, 25 years after being falsely accused of starting a massacre at a local temple.
