Kota Kinabalu: The Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS) signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Petronas and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) respectively here Tuesday, in conjunction with the launch of the Sabah Energy Roadmap and Master Plan 2040 (SE-RAMP 2040).
Witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, the first MoU is a strategic collaboration in the form of exploration and study and research of new energy technology with Petronas by utilising the capabilities of the facilities at the Petronas Research Centre in related fields.
