LKIM sedia peruntukan RM2 juta laksana projek pembesaran unjam
KUALA TERENGGANU: Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia menyediakan peruntukan sebanyak RM2 juta bagi pelaksanaan projek pembesaran unjam di perairan Pantai Timur negara.
Menurut beliau, objektif utama projek berkenaan ialah menambah kepadatan dan kepelbagaian hidupan marin serta memulihara kawasan pembiakan ikan di perairan terlibat. “Projek pembesaran unjam ini dilaksanakan di 10 lokasi masing-masing tiga di perairan Kelantan dan Terengganu serta empat di perairan Pahang dengan kos RM200,000 bagi setiap lokasi.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika ditemui selepas Program Melabuhkan Unjam di perairan Kuala Terengganu ,di sini, hari ini.
