Loh Siew Hong is focused on setting aside a High Court ruling declaring the unilateral conversion of her children to Islam is valid, says lawyer.
Loh Siew Hong’s appeal from the High Court’s refusal to quash the unilateral conversion of her three underage children to Islam will be heard by the Court of Appeal on Oct 19.
Her lawyer, A Srimurugan, said a notice of discontinuance was filed in court today. He also said MAIPs’ lawyers have been duly informed of the matter. Meanwhile, lawyer Gunamalar Joorindanjn, who is appearing for Loh, said the variation application will come up for hearing before Justice Hayatul Akmal Abdul Aziz in the High Court on Wednesday.
