IPOH: The state government is committed to developing several big-scale solar farms in the state.
Science, Environment and Green Technology committee chairman Teh Kok Lim said via the Perak State Development Corporation a big-scale solar farm project covering a 17.4ha area in Kuala Bikam in Bidor was planned."PKNPk through its subsidiary Majuperak Holdings Berhad , also owns a solar farm located in Keramat Pulai, near the Rural Transformation Centre Gopeng which started operating in 2015 until now with an area of 1.8ha," he said.
Tiw queried the state government’s efforts to promote green technology, and its plans for solar farms.
