PETALING JAYA: A manager of a tahfiz is being investigated for kidnapping following allegations that he took his wife to Kelantan and locked her inside a homestay after she refused to go with him for a holiday there.
BALIK PULAU: Police here have arrested 11 people, including six women, for allegedly participating in an international online prostitution syndicate.
"A team of police from district and state Criminal Investigation Department conducted an operation and arrested the suspects at about 5.30pm," he said during a press conference on Sunday . "Potential clients who want to procure sex services will call the syndicate who used an Australian SIM card number," he said, adding the syndicate has been active since December 2021.
