NABAWAN: The Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) has invested RM62.6 million to develop its plantations in the West Coast region, covering Keningau, Beaufort, Tenom, Kota Marudu, Tongod and Nabawan this year.
Its General Manager Syaheddrul R Joddari said among the land development works carried out were farm road upgrade, oil palm productivity improvement programme, farm infrastructure and main road upgrade, village road, agricultural gravel road upgrade, area development project , integrated village economic development Project and Poor People’s Housing Programme .According to him, SLDB aims to build 747 PPRT units this year, comprising 330 new units and 417 refurbished ones.
