KOTA KINABALU: Local authorities must put in place their strategic plans for the respective districts in efforts to boost their delivery to the community, says Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam.
The Sabah Deputy Chief Minister said such strategic plans were necessary for each local authority as it allows them to deliver proper services and meet the expectations of the people.
"It is important for the local government to create advantages for their districts and focus on the needs of their respective areas," he said. He said that the preparation of a strategic plan for the development and management of the district should set the direction of the respective local authorities.
