KLUANG: Police have arrested a 21-year-old man for public indecency in Taman Delima here.
Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Bahrin Mohd Noh said the incident occurred on Sunday at 1am in front of a shop at the location.
"The arrest was made after a video of the indecent act was uploaded on social media, showing the suspect masturbating in public.A background check revealed that the suspect has no prior offences on his record and tested negative for drugs, he added.Meanwhile, in an unrelated case, ACP Bahrin said four lorry drivers were arrested during a special operation dubbed Ops Perdagangan that was conducted on Thursday .
"A roadblock was placed at KM57.8 Jalan Batu Pahat-Mersing at 9am where we inspected 55 commercial vehicles and 61 individuals."Four drivers, aged between 22 and 33, also tested positive for methamphetamine," he said, adding that police would continue to conduct such operations to avoid any unwanted incidents on the road.
