Living with housemates can be a gamble because you never know if you will find housemates who make your life comfortable or a living nightmare.
Unfortunately for Twitter user ‘T’, it seems like she got the latter as she described her housemate, ‘I’, as the “” According to her, this housemate is an aspiring influencer but steals from the other housemates, even going as far as to block them on social media so she wouldn’t get caught.‘T’, and her other housemate, ‘F’, only realised the situation after noticing their belongings had been rearranged and thrown around.
The thread also included several screenshots from the alleged thief’s social postings as evidence that she had stolen the items. Each image included labels that indicated which item belonged to whom, and ‘T’ said it became more suspicious because the date of the posts tallied with the date she wasn’t at home. She added that ‘I’ had been ignoring her calls and messages, but when she did answer, she would deny any wrongdoing.
Interestingly, the thread got a reaction by someone claiming to be ‘I’’s former housemate. She said that the woman had done the same thing when the two lived together and added that ‘I’ would not admit her fault because she even moved away when she got caught previously.It is unknown when ‘I’ will publicly apologise or reimburse her housemates – but hopefully ‘T’ will hold her accountable to prevent this from happening to another unsuspecting housemate.
