A VIRAL video is making the rounds with the footage showing a fight between two men that ended with one of them on the ground.
The caption alleges that the fight was sparked off by a parking dispute in Kuching Central and that the victim had been killed.FALSE
Kuching OCPD Asst Comm Ahsmon Bajah said the police were aware of the viral eight-second video that had been circulating on social media but said that police had been unable to find any evidence of such a fight. "Our investigations showed that there were no instances of fights as depicted in the video in the Kuching Central area.ACP Ahsmon urged the public not to share unverified information and videos via social media.
He also warned that stern action would be taken against any individual who purposefully tried to create conflict within the community.
